A typical Karuwa is a Newari vessel used to store, drink, and serve water. Palpa, Tansen of Nepal is famous for producing this metal craft which is especially used in daily households of the Newar Community. It is one of the traditional water bottles and serves a great purpose to Nepali’s core heritage and culture. These vessels are either made of honey wax, Palpali bronze, or brass and have a moderate to exquisite carvings on them.
